Who we are

Yacht Solar Arches is a trading name of LatBros Ltd, Mill Rythe Lane, Hayling Island, UK, PO11 0QQ. We are the data controller for the personal data described on this page. You can reach us at info@yachtsolararches.co.uk or +44 23 9400 8764.

What we collect and why

Enquiries. When you use the contact form on this website, email us, call us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive your name, contact details and whatever you tell us about your boat and the work you want done. We use this to answer you, to prepare a quotation and to carry out the work if you go ahead.

Facebook and Instagram lead forms. When you fill in one of our lead forms on Facebook or Instagram, Meta passes us the answers you gave: usually your name, email address, phone number and details of your boat. We use these to contact you about your enquiry and to send you a confirmation email. Meta's own handling of your data is covered by the Meta Privacy Policy.

Website analytics. With your consent, we use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our advertising. These tools set cookies and collect data such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location. No analytics cookies are set until you accept them in the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time with the Manage Cookies link in the footer.

Legal basis

We process enquiry and lead form data because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and afterwards to perform that contract. We process analytics data on the basis of your consent.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of service providers to run the business: Resend to send email, Amazon Web Services to host this website, Meta for lead forms and advertising, and Google and Microsoft for analytics. They process data on our behalf and under contract. Some of these providers are outside the UK; transfers are covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Enquiry and lead records are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and, if work is carried out, for up to six years afterwards for warranty and accounting purposes. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of each tool, which we set to the shortest option available.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our processing, or withdraw consent. Email info@yachtsolararches.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
