Moody 38 — Eiviva Solar Arch

This Solar Arch for the Moody 38 was designed to offer a smart, streamlined look while maximising real-world functionality. Solar generation was a secondary consideration, with two 200W panels providing ample power for the owner's needs. The primary goal was to organise the stern for comfortable and practical sailing, preserving the original Moody corner seating and integrating a U-shaped, deployable davit system to make dinghy stowage, lifting, and deployment effortless. The design also includes dedicated antenna and wind generator brackets, thoughtfully positioned away from the solar panels to eliminate shading risks. The result is an enhanced Eiviva design, reinforced with a robust 2" OD main frame that seamlessly integrates with the existing pushpit and seating, delivering improved aesthetics, functionality, and comfort to the Moody 38's stern.
