Lagoon 40 — Custom Catamaran Solar Arch

This stainless steel solar arch for a Lagoon 40 catamaran was designed to carry 4 × 440W solar panels and was installed in 2023. It gives the boat enough solar power for off-grid sailing. The arch follows the same approach as our Lagoon 45 Ribodo project. The stainless steel frame is straight, and the solar panels are mounted flat to make the most of the sun. A middle ladder-style frame supports the arch at the stern. The frame is built from 38mm stainless steel 316 tube, polished to a mirror finish, with all fixing plates laser cut to suit the boat.
